My apologies for the lateness of this post the holidays got in my way and I just got to it now.
Soliciting feedback on how you felt round 3 went.
How can we make this community better? Was the amount of reminders and post on tumblr helpful? Too much? Was it easier with one genre or should we go back to multiple genres per round? What are we doing that you like? What would you like us to change? What would you like to see for the next round? Genres? Word limits? Opinions? Suggestions?
With the servers moving to Russia do people want to continue on this platform or move somewhere else?
Also, I'm not sure when round 4 will be. I'm going to aim for May 2017 because the next few months are going to be very busy for me work wise. It will hopefully settle when the academic semester ends.
Finally, THANK YOU all so much for participating in the fantastic discussions. Thank you for your insightful comments. Thank you for the good discussions. Thank you for joining in.
Here is the link to all the fics and discussions in round 3.

Date: 2017-01-07 07:29 am (UTC)I wonder if it's because LJ doesn't feel like home to me? Although I recognize it's in many ways the best venue for these discussions. Would imzy work? Should we try and see? Perhaps bookshop would have ideas on that score.
Slack is a nice place to hang out and chat, but the archive decays too fast, so that wouldn't work.

Date: 2017-01-07 06:10 pm (UTC)That's the problem, finding another platform that most people are on. I was wondering if maybe reddit would be better? But I know nothing about that platform. Imzy's the same. I thought of Slack but I want to keep an archive.
The only one I can think of is Dreamwidth, I have an account there but I never use it.

Date: 2017-01-07 11:12 pm (UTC)Reddit could work, we had one for the hgtv verse but it didn't really take off. It's also a bit of weird and sometimes toxic overall environment, not that that would affect us, but the site runners don't seem as nice?
