A bit of background contest: When "You're Waiting For a Stranger" was written, Omegle chatrooms were all the rage in fandom—specifically people would frequently go on Omegle in the first frenzy of Inception fandom *in-character* as Arthur or Eames and surf around until they found another Eames to their Arthur, etc. Omegle roleplays were a pretty significant part of the fandom back in the day, and this fic is responding to that to a degree.
