This second part of the discussion of gyzym's Domesticverse, Wherever You Will Be (That's Where I'll Call Home) includes parts 5, 7 and 8. We'll discuss part 6 in the rare pair week.
Part 5: pressed against the pending physics of my passed down last name
part 7: life long local foreigner, i
part 8: having let go forever the fallacy of ever being alone
Once again, msbrightsidesh and I really enjoyed discussing these chapters, which are, if possible, even lovelier than the earlier ones.
SO MANY FEELS!

Re: Sex as emotion
Date: 2016-06-08 03:19 pm (UTC)I never even really thought about it like that, about how it's all Arthur letting himself be seen by Eames.
The sex as emotion thing is something that I didn't catch for quite a while, actually, I don't think I understood it during my first read through this fic at all.
It's so well done and it elevates sex from being a simple way to move the plot forward (and to please the readers, of course ;)) into something that becomes essential to the story and its characters. It's very admirable, I think, to manage to write it this way without ever slipping up.
